Knitting Mania

The last couple weeks were exceptionally long. My doctors’ appointments lately haven’t been normal visits because they’ve included procedures, infusions and blood draws. Lots of blood draws. I’ve been sleeping less, but I feel tired all the time and wah, wah, wah, wah. Sorry. I’ll stop now.

Fortunately, I have been able to get a lot of knitting completed in the past few weeks. I thought I’d show you what I finished. Keep in mind that I knit some things to sell, some of these items I knit for myself, some for clients and some for friends. You can always visit my other website, Kazoo Knits and take a look around.

The Dino Hat is very popular with the younger crowd. I knit this hat for a repeat customer. It’s made out of Knit Picks Shine Worsted and the pattern is my own.

The mermaid costume is made from Knit Picks Swish worsted and the patterns are a hodgepodge. If you are interested in the patterns you can contact me and I will help you find the right pattern for what you need. If you’d like a mermaid costume, I can help you with that too.

The tractor hat is made from Knit Picks Shine worsted and is my own pattern.

The sock monkey hat really isn’t my own pattern because the idea has been around forever, but I made this pattern myself. The yarn is Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tweed.

This fishing hat is a pattern I had and then I copied some aspects of hats I liked from Etsy and Ravelry. The yarn has been in my stash for over a year and is *sigh* merino wool and cashmere.

The deer hat is my own pattern, which you can read about here. It’s made out of organic 100% cotton yarn, which is washable and durable. A good thing for a deer.

The last project was Beeline, a sweater by Heidi Kirrmaier. I love this thing. I cannot wait to knit myself another one. I actually finished this one for myself and started to knit my Mom one.
