This morning I have a procedure. My life involves lots of procedures, doctors, and hospitals, so this procedure is nothing new, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to hurt any less. My doctor this morning is incredibly kind and thoughtful and his staff are amazing, but the procedure he performs is painful. To get through these procedures I think about other stuff and today I’m going to think about dogs who maybe have some problems of their own to worry about.
