Blue is not sleeping. She has severe degenerative arthritis in her spine and hips and I think she is losing her sight. It’s either her eyes or her mind. Regardless, neither of us is sleeping and I am exhausted. She is my girl, so I also worry about her constantly and the vet is at our house every week. I was sitting up with her last night at 1:00 a.m. thinking bedtime has become a disaster, an absolute fiasco, so to entertain myself I decided to listen to This American Life. Ira Glass soothes me.
